House and Grounds
By far the most popular in our Day-Long Volunteer Opportunities is the opportunity to spend the day learning and working on the building site and grounds. Our workdays usually run from 9:30 - 4:30 on Saturdays, when these opportunities are presented. Lunch is provided. Ideal for students young and old.

Tour Guides
Learn enough about environmentally friendly building and land management at our Center and teach others as a Volunteer Tour Guide.

Sustainable Rhode Island Web site
This unique web site serves as a clearinghouse for sustainability products and practitioners throughout the state. With a point-and-click, the site connects individuals with like-minded neighbors, organizations, and companies providing anything from organic gardening tips to solar panels to cloth diapers to fuel-efficient vehicles and more. there are many ways to get involved with this project, some of which requires no previous web design experience.
