Morning Sustainable Cities & Towns Conference

Looking to move your town or city toward sustainable development, policies and practices? Hear strategies, stories, anecdotes and advice from local officials and community leaders spearheading efforts to transform their communities into eco-municipalities. Some topics they will cover include energy, food, transportation and land use.

Cliff Wood was elected to the Providence City Council in 2006.

Beth Milham is a member of the new Newport Energy and Environment Commission.

Steeped in the land trust movement for over 8 years, Paul Roselli has helped shape land trust and conservation easement language and practice in the Town of Burrillville and throughout the state.

Greg Gerritt has been actively working for the environment, peace, and justice since 1967. His organizational affiliates include the Green Party, the Environment Council of Rhode Island, and Friends of the Moshassuck.
